Data protection information pursuant to the GDPR

1. Controller

Data protection is of a particularly high priority for the management of Eppdata GmbH. The use of this website is generally possible without providing personal data. Where the processing of personal data is necessary and there is no statutory basis, we generally obtain the consent of the data subject. All processing is carried out in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable national data protection law.

2. Server log files / hosting

This website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. When you access this website, Hetzner automatically collects and stores information that your browser transmits (server log files), e.g. browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, host name of the accessing device, time of the server request and IP address. This data is not merged with other data sources and is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website). It is stored for a limited period and then deleted.

We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) with Hetzner to ensure full compliance with strict data protection regulations.

3. Contact by email

If you contact us by email, the information you provide will be processed solely for the purpose of handling your enquiry, on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR.

4. Job applications

Applications are handled via our recruiting platform at eppdata.jobs.personio.de (Personio). The data protection information provided there applies to the application process.

5. Your rights

As a data subject you have the right of access (Art. 15), to rectification (Art. 16), to erasure (Art. 17), to restriction of processing (Art. 18), to data portability (Art. 20) and to object (Art. 21). 6. Data security

We use technical and organisational measures to protect personal data processed through this website. Please note that internet-based data transmission may have security gaps; complete protection against access by third parties is not possible.
